What you'll do
- Support development teams as their operations engineer, helping them run business applications on infrastructure
- Design and put in place application infrastructure for on-premise and cloud environments, meeting application, security and infrastructure standards
- Take responsibility for delivery across Windows, Linux, networking, messaging, directory services, Azure and database technologies
What you bring
- A bachelor's or master's degree and three to four years working in IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux or Windows, plus VMware ESX
- Experience with several listed technologies, including network configuration, databases, identity tools or Terraform
- A good grasp of ITIL, Scrum, secure application infrastructure and continuous integration, with proficient English

As IES Engineer you will:
- Endorse the role of Ops Engineer supporting Development teams
- Ensure business applications are optimally coordinated on Euroclear infrastructure (on premise and on cloud) by designing and implementing solutions that meet application requirements, security and infrastructure requirements and standards
- You will take full ownership of your deliveries that cover a very broad set of technologies like Windows, Linux, Network (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewall,…), MQ, Domain Controller, Azure services, SQL, Oracle,….
Requirements:
- BA or MA degree
- 3 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure
- A very good expertise and knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems as well of VMware ESX solutions
- Experience in multiple technologies like Network configuration (DNS, routing & netting, firewall, load balancing), SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, ADFS, Identity management, Terraform
- ITIL and Scrum knowledge and you know the key principles to make an application infrastructure secure.
- A good understanding of Continuous Integration principles
- Proficient in English
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a competitive, but team-oriented focus are key elements to be successful in this challenging environment
- Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies
- Able to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies / procedures
- Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context
- Ready to deal with impediments in autonomy
