What you'll do

- Coordinate with client engineering and security teams, support AI-assisted operations, and join the on-call rotation
What you bring
- At least four years in DevOps, SRE or platform operations, including two years supporting production systems under SLA
- Practical experience with Azure or AWS, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure code and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of IAM, observability tools and scripting with Bash, PowerShell or Python
- Fluent spoken and written English, plus a steady, methodical approach to incidents and controlled changes

About the role
Zühlke Managed Services runs business-critical applications for clients in Switzerland, Germany, the UK and APAC. You will join our operations team and take technical ownership of the platforms behind two live programmes for one of the world's leading insurance groups.
What you'll do
- Operate and keep platforms reliable in production: monitoring, incident response, problem management and root-cause analysis
- Own CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for both platforms, including releases, environment management and rollbacks
- Run changes through a controlled, ITIL / ISO 20000-aligned change process in a regulated insurance environment
- Maintain security baselines: secrets, certificates, access policies, vulnerability patching
- Build and tune observability (dashboards, alerting, log analysis) so problems show up before the client sees them
- Work directly with the client's engineering and security teams and with our Swiss-based Service Managers
- Take part in on-call rotation
- Use and extend AI-assisted operations tooling: automated triage, log analysis, runbook automation
What you bring
- 4+ years in DevOps / SRE / platform operations, with at least 2 running production systems under SLA
- Strong hands-on experience with [Azure / AWS], containers and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code with [Terraform / Bicep]; CI/CD with [Azure DevOps / GitLab / GitHub Actions]
- Solid grasp of IAM concepts (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, directory services); hands-on experience with [Entra ID / Keycloak / ForgeRock / Ping / SailPoint] is a strong plus
- Observability tooling ([Grafana / Prometheus / ELK / Dynatrace / Azure Monitor])
- Scripting in Bash, PowerShell or Python
- Fluent English, written and spoken. [German is a plus]
- A calm, structured approach to incident handling and change control in regulated environments
Nice to have
- ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
- Practical use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering
- Financial services or insurance experience
