What you'll do
- Connect AWS infrastructure with on-premises systems, then build and maintain the integrations
- Automate infrastructure work with Ansible and Terraform, including scripts, tools and Infrastructure as Code
- Run Unix and Linux services and Elasticsearch clusters used for log analysis
- Operate Docker and Kubernetes workloads on EKS, and maintain monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and Zabbix
- Build CI/CD practices with other teams, troubleshoot infrastructure issues and carry out on-premises-to-cloud migrations
What you bring
- You have hands-on AWS experience integrating cloud infrastructure with on-premises systems
- You bring practical Ansible and Terraform skills for automation and Infrastructure as Code
- You have strong Unix or Linux administration experience and have managed Elasticsearch clusters
- You have operated Docker and Kubernetes, especially AWS EKS, and used monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus or Grafana
- You can troubleshoot network, system and application problems and plan and implement cloud migrations

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure integration solutions spanning AWS cloud environments and on-premises systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform to streamline integration processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and optimise Unix/Linux systems and services, including Elasticsearch clusters for log management and analysis.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure and application monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), including day-to-day cluster operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure integration requirements, develop technical solutions, and implement DevOps practices using CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, system, and application issues while minimising disruption to business operations.
- Plan and execute cloud migration strategies from on-premises environments to cloud, covering both planning and implementation phases.
Requirements
- Strong experience in infrastructure integration across cloud and on-premises environments, primarily AWS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Ansible and Terraform for automation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong Unix/Linux administration experience.
- Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters and log management/analysis.
- Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools, including:
- AWS CloudWatch
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- Zabbix
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly AWS EKS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across network, system, and application layers.
- Experience planning and implementing on-premises-to-cloud migrations.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify integration requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Ability to operate in environments where high availability, performance, and minimising business disruption are important.
- Strong hands-on engineering capability rather than purely theoretical/cloud architectural knowledge.
