What you'll do
- Provision AWS infrastructure for container and serverless services, keeping it aligned with the client’s existing setup
- Create repeatable infrastructure-as-code environments for development, QA, staging and production
- Build .NET and React delivery pipelines with tests, security checks and promotion controls
- Protect integrations and public endpoints, then provide logs, metrics, dashboards and alerts
- Run deployments and rollbacks, document handovers, and make AWS costs visible
What you bring
- At least six years in DevOps or cloud engineering, including four years operating production workloads on AWS
- Hands-on work with ECS or Fargate, Lambda, SNS or SQS, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch
- Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK/CloudFormation, plus Docker and CI/CD for .NET and Node/React applications
- Strong cloud security and secrets-management fundamentals, with observability experience across logs, metrics and alerts
- Excellent spoken and written English for daily client communication

- As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own the infrastructure, pipelines, and operability of the new service fitting cleanly into the client's existing AWS setup.
- Design and provision AWS infrastructure for containerised and serverless services
- Implement infrastructure-as-code with reproducible Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments
- Build CI/CD pipelines for .NET and React applications, including automated tests, security scanning, and promotion gates
- Apply least-privilege IAM and manage secrets for third-party integrations
- Secure public-facing endpoints and webhooks
- Deliver observability: logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting
- Own release management: deployment strategy, rollback, and production releases
- Produce runbooks and handover documentation; keep AWS cost visible
- 6+ years in DevOps / Cloud Engineering, including 4+ years running production workloads on AWS
- Hands-on with ECS / Fargate, Lambda, SNS / SQS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch
- Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or AWS CDK / CloudFormation
- CI/CD pipeline design for .NET and Node / React applications (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
- Strong Docker and containerised deployment experience
- Secrets management and cloud security fundamentals
- Observability practice: logging, metrics, alerting
- Excellent communication in English — written and spoken — for daily client interaction
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional)
- Experience hosting Shopify apps or webhook consumers
- High-availability design for latency-sensitive e-commerce services
- Security hardening experience
- AI-assisted infrastructure and pipeline development
