Role brief

devopsroles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Set OutSystems priorities, shape its roadmap with enterprise architecture and decide how business teams’ requests are handled
  • Create shared application templates and reusable controls, then maintain the design language teams use to build consistently
  • Run the CI/CD setup, covering pull-request deployments, quality checks, artifact storage, versioning and automated code analysis
  • Put platform testing practices into use, including BDD and visual regression, and help teams adopt them
  • Coordinate platform infrastructure, security, integrations and developer tooling with infrastructure and security teams

What you bring

  • Deep OutSystems knowledge across O11 and ODC, including architecture, administration, Lifetime and development studios
  • Strong delivery pipeline skills, including Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Git workflows, JFrog Artifactory and PowerShell
  • Hands-on identity and security experience with Azure AD or Entra ID, OpenID Connect, SAML, certificates and SailPoint
  • Experience with enterprise integrations and quality approaches, including REST, Kafka, Elastic/Kibana, BDD and automated testing

Who this fits

This mid-level, full-time role suits someone who can independently plan, build, test, deploy and document platform work across a broad scope. You’ll work on-site in Gurgaon, India, and coordinate with technical and non-technical partners, including security and architecture teams.

From the employer

Location - Gurgaon (On-site)

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategic direction of the OutSystems platform, including evolution, feature-request intake and prioritization across business subdomains, and long-term roadmap alignment with enterprise architecture

  • Design and maintain standardized application templates, reusable foundation controls, and the organization’s OutSystems design language to improve consistency and accelerate delivery

  • Own and continuously enhance the end-to-end CI/CD framework (PR-based deployment model, quality gates, versioning, artifact storage, environment-independent deployments, and automated code analysis)

  • Establish and operationalize testing and quality practices across the platform (BDD frameworks, visual regression testing, static analysis, schema review tooling), including enablement and adoption across teams

  • Help work with Infrastructure team to help manage OutSystems infrastructure across all environments, including platform and database upgrades, provisioning, build-agent management, certificate lifecycle, air-gap solutioning, and environment-specific configuration automation

  • Help work with Security team to drive the platform security posture, including authentication modernization (OpenID Connect, Azure AD / Entra ID), PKI certificate management, security assessments, and approvals/compliance coordination with enterprise security

  • Build and maintain integration frameworks (REST APIs with Azure AD auth, Elastic/Kibana observability, Kafka/event-driven patterns, SailPoint identity provisioning, and API-level RBAC)

  • Introduce developer productivity tooling, including AI-driven enablement (LLM integrations, agentic bot frameworks, ML-powered code review, and MCP client rollout)

  • Define and enforce guardrails and standards; maintain documentation; and support teams through enablement and hands-on guidance

Your Profile:

Success is measured by how well the OutSystems platform scales across the organization: teams can build and deploy reliably, new teams can onboard quickly, and the platform’s infrastructure, security, and CI/CD practices remain stable under increasing demand. Key indicators include adoption of shared standards/templates, the stability and evolution of the deployment pipeline, and well-documented, audit-ready practices suitable for a regulated environment.

  • Deep expertise in OutSystems (O11 and ODC): architecture, Lifetime, Service Studio, Integration Studio, and platform administration

  • Strong CI/CD and DevOps skills: Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML), Git branching strategies, JFrog Artifactory, build-agent management, and PowerShell scripting

  • Hands-on security and identity experience: Azure AD / Entra ID, OpenID Connect, SAML, PKI certificate management, and SailPoint integration

  • Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns: REST APIs, Kafka, Elastic/Kibana/Logstash, OpenAPI, and WebSockets

  • Experience building and operationalizing quality practices: BDD, visual regression testing, SonarQube, and automated code review tooling

  • Working knowledge of AI/ML integration: LLM integration, MCP (Model Context Protocol), bot framework development, and practical use of AI in developer tooling

  • Infrastructure management skills: SQL Server, Windows Server (OutSystems hosting), environment provisioning, and air-gap architecture

  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including security/architecture/vendor teams

  • High ownership and autonomy—you can prioritize, plan, build, test, deploy, document, and support independently across a broad scope

  • Experience with OutSystems ODC Early Access Programs, solution-level deployments, or parallel deployment architectures

  • Familiarity with financial services and regulated industry requirements

  • Knowledge of low-code platform licensing cost optimization

  • Enterprise-level vendor management experience
