What you'll do

- You have worked as a Cloud Architect at senior level
- You have built hybrid environments for large enterprises, using two or more cloud providers alongside physical infrastructure
- You know the service architecture of at least one of Azure, GCP or AWS in depth
- You communicate in English at an advanced level
Who this fits
This role is suited to a senior cloud architect with large-enterprise hybrid deployment experience. It is a full-time B2B engagement, with two to three office days each week in Warsaw, Gdańsk or Gdynia.

Cloud Architect
About the OfferWe are currently looking for a Cloud Architect to join the team of our client from the banking sector. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.
You will support the client's Core Technology Architecture and Engineering department, designing resilient, scalable and cost-efficient cloud platforms that turn ambitious modernisation plans into measurable delivery. You will also be involved in ongoing on-premise to cloud migration activities.
Key Details:Rate: up to 190 PLN/h net + VAT
Work Model: B2B contract, full-time (40 h/week), hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office
Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk or Gdynia
Language: Advanced English
Responsibilities:
Design resilient, scalable and cost-efficient cloud platforms in line with the bank's modernisation plans
Architect hybrid deployments spanning multiple cloud providers and on-premise infrastructure
Support on-premise to cloud migration activities
Provide architectural support to the Core Technology Architecture and Engineering department
Requirements:
At least senior-level experience as a Cloud Architect
Proven experience with hybrid implementations in a large-scale enterprise, preferably in the financial sector, covering at least two cloud vendors as well as physical on-premise infrastructure
Expertise in cross-cloud and on-premise hybrid deployment architecture
In-depth expert knowledge of the service architecture of at least one cloud provider:
Azure: Entra ID, RBAC/PIM, Azure Policy, VNets/Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, Private Link, Bicep/Terraform, Azure SQL, Databricks, Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, FinOps, Backup/DR
GCP: IAM, Org Policy, SCC, VPC Service Controls, Shared VPC, Interconnect/VPN, KMS, Terraform, Infrastructure Manager, Cloud Build/Deploy, GitOps, Cloud Operations, SRE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataplex, Vertex AI, Gemini, responsible AI, FinOps
AWS: IAM, Organizations/SCPs, Control Tower, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, KMS, AWS CDK, Terraform, CodePipeline/Build/Deploy, Multi-AZ/Region, Resilience Hub, S3, Glue, SageMaker AI, Bedrock, FinOps
