What you'll do
- Troubleshoot production problems with relevant teams and stakeholders, then work through fixes

- Estimate work, surface delivery risks, and plan project schedules through completion
- Reorder your work as priorities shift and consider effects beyond the immediate task
What you bring
- You have seven to eleven years of relevant experience
- You bring strong Python and Shell scripting skills, plus hands-on experience automating work from development through deployment
- You have built and operated Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, including Terraform
- You can architect Azure services and manage high-throughput microservices and Docker containers
- You have configured Prometheus or Grafana monitoring and alerts, with a grasp of system observability and tracing

This role suits a senior DevOps engineer who can work across teams, handle shifting priorities, and operate with minimal guidance. You’ll work with engineering teams in scrums and sprints on a daily basis. The role is based in Bangalore, India.

What will you be doing?
- Debugging/Troubleshooting and fixing issues in the production environment by working with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrates ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements.
- Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.
- Estimates efforts, identify risks, devises and meets project schedules.
- Rises above detail to see broader issues and implications for whole product/team.
What do we expect from you?
- 7-11 years of experience.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell etc.
- Experience in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), Kubernetes ecosystem, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), Infrastructure automation, Automation and Scripting, Networking, Linux container and cluster management
- Expertise in Architecting and Implementing Azure Service Offering, such as Azure VMs, Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS), Azure Load Balancers, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, Azure network settings, DNS settings, security policies, Routing, Azure storage, Azure Active Directory (AD) etc.
- Experience on high throughput microservices.
- Expertise in Kubernetes to deploy scale, load balance, and manage Docker containers
- Working knowledge of build automation and building CI/CD pipelines in Kubernetes.
- Strong experience in Kubernetes ecosystem - Helm, skaffold
- Expertise in Infrastructure as a code(IaC) e.g., Terraform
- Expertise in configuring the monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus/Grafana, dashboarding, Alerts setup etc.
- Champion of automation. Must be doing automation daily from dev to deploy. To remove any needs of manual intervention & Debugging into the system.
- Understanding of observability and traceability
- To work in scrums/sprints with engineering teams on a daily basis
- Strong computer fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing and start-up workplace
- Provide good attention to details
- Must be excited by challenges surrounding the development of highly scalable & distributed system for building audience targeting capabilities
- Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and scope and priorities. Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in fluid environment.
