What you'll do

What you bring
- You have eight to fourteen years in software engineering
- You bring substantial Linux experience and can script in Shell or Python
- You have built and maintained CI/CD workflows with tools such as Maven or Jenkins
- You have hands-on experience with VMs, containers and cloud applications using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or Azure
- You hold a master’s degree in a technical or management discipline, or have equivalent extensive work experience

It involves looking into seamless integration among the teams, successfully and continuously deploying the code. A DevOps engineer must have a strong passion for scripting and coding, has expertise in handling deployment automation, infrastructure automation and ability to handle the version control. They need to have excellent complex problem-solving skills, must have the ability to think out of the box, and curious.
Responsibilities
- DevOps Engineer is responsible for handling the IT infrastructure as per the business needs of the code which can be deployed in a hybrid multi-tenant environment which needs continuous monitoring of the performance.
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Test, build, design, deployment, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
- Must know how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fits the business needs.
- Ability to automate test and deploy the code and monitor.
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Linux operating system environment with good command over scripting language like Shell Script, Python
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process by accessing tools like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
- Hands-on experience to build and handle VMs, Containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
- Hands-on experience in building, designing and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, etc.
- Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with integration and deployment team.
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
- Master's Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
