  • Build Terraform components for AWS accounts, network foundations, identity access and security services
  • Set up infrastructure delivery pipelines with GitOps, and apply governance rules through AWS Config, SCPs and OPA
  • Operate EKS clusters by handling node settings, add-ons, upgrades and ongoing maintenance
  • Automate account setup, compliance reports, quota tracking and drift checks; support application teams with onboarding and troubleshooting
  • Apply security controls, extend established patterns to Azure and GCP, and resolve platform incidents through root-cause work

What you bring

  • At least three years in cloud, platform engineering or DevOps work
  • Production-scale infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or another named IaC tool
  • Hands-on background building infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and applying policy-as-code controls
  • Kubernetes cluster operations experience, plus working knowledge of core AWS services

Who this fits

This mid-level role suits someone who enjoys hands-on cloud platform engineering where infrastructure automation and security controls meet. You’ll work with a public cloud architect and support application teams. The role is based in Bengaluru, India.

From the employer

Change the world. Love your job.
Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Public Cloud Engineer to implement, automate, and operate the enterprise public cloud platform across AWS (primary), Azure, and GCP. This role partners with the Public Cloud Architect to execute on platform strategy — building Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code controls, and Kubernetes configurations that enable consistent, governed cloud delivery at scale.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with infrastructure-as-code and automation, comfortable operating at the intersection of platform engineering and cloud security, and motivated by building the foundations that application teams depend on.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Terraform modules for AWS landing zone components — account vending, network baselines, IAM Identity Center, and security tooling
  • Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery using GitOps practices
  • Write and enforce policy-as-code controls — AWS Config rules, SCPs, and OPA policies — to maintain governance guardrails across the account estate
  • Deploy and manage EKS clusters — node configuration, add-on management, upgrades, and day-2 operations
  • Automate cloud operational tasks — account onboarding, compliance reporting, quota management, and configuration drift detection
  • Implement cloud security controls — GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and network security configurations
  • Support application teams with onboarding, troubleshooting, and platform guidance
  • Contribute to multi-cloud extension, applying consistent patterns to Azure and GCP as workloads require
  • Monitor platform health, respond to incidents, and drive root cause resolution

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation, Pulumi, or CDK) at production scale
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent)
  • Experience with policy-as-code frameworks — AWS Config rules, OPA/Rego, SCPs, or equivalent
  • Experience with Kubernetes — cluster operations, workload deployment, networking, and version upgrades
  • Working knowledge of core AWS services — EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and version-controlled infrastructure workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Experience with AWS Control Tower, Organizations, or Account Factory for Terraform (AFT)
  • Knowledge of cloud security tooling — GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Identity Center
  • Experience with AWS CloudFormation or CDK for native account bootstrapping and service control
  • FinOps awareness — tagging governance, cost allocation, and Reserved Instance basics
  • Knowledge of Azure or GCP equivalents for multi-cloud extension
  • Experience with observability tooling — CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with advanced Kubernetes networking or service mesh (Cilium, Istio)
  • Experience with OpenShift or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions
  • Relevant cloud certifications — AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS DevOps Engineer, or equivalent
