- Write and maintain automation code in Puppet Enterprise, Puppet Open Source and Ansible
- Use the Atlassian suite while supporting systems and IT operations
- Test and deploy code in small increments, using automation tools
- Rework processes when needed and develop technically sound designs and specifications

- At least three years working with a DevOps team or in a DevOps environment
- Two years using Puppet and two years using Ansible to automate work
- Two years using the Atlassian tool suite
- Strong written and spoken communication skills

Skills needed:
• Coding/scripting within Puppet Enterprise and Puppet Open Source.
• Coding/scripting using Ansible.
• Working knowledge of the Atlassian tool suite
• Ability to re-engineer processes as necessary
• Communicating and collaborating with others
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Experience with systems and IT operations
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Strong grasp of automation tools
• A strong focus on business outcomes
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Requirement:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• 3 years’ experience working in a DevOps environment/team
• 2 years’ experience uses Puppet for automation
• 2 years’ experience using Ansible for automation
• 2 years’ experience using the Atlassian Tool suite
• Ability to develop technical sound designs and specifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
